Catch up and some work to share

Well tomorrow is the last day of Third term, DS first term at school.
I am amazed how much he has matured over the past few months and I am sure he grown a few centimetres as well.
He loves school and is picking things up so quickly.
DH will be having holidays with him, so it is going to be a male bonding session so to speak.

My Nephew and my sister are about to head to WA this weekend for the National inline Hockey titles, Good Luck Eth!! Enjoy yourself!

Our ballroom dancing is progressing well, we are all enjoying it and it is nice to get out to dances to show off our new talent. We are nothing special, but we can get around.

I have been busy scrapping most weekends, fabulous therapy for me.
But it is spread around the country, soI thought it would be a good idea to post some of it here for family and friends to see.

I have managed to finish a few pages from Savvy's Spring Cybercrop, still time to get your pages in. I might even get one more done tonight.

Savvy September Reveal

This month our DT kits featured 2 of the most fabulous companies, Scrapware and Prima. Sar generously supplied a combination of different patterned papers that worked perfectly together and then added the icing on the cake, some awesome chipboard pieces and flowers 'To die for'.
Also featured are the beautiful glitter thickers, just love the colour!!

'Not so tasty'

A mixture of some Fancy Pants papers and ribbon, a touch of Scenic Route and the stunning Queen & Co Beadifuls.
I have used glossy Accents to adhere the Beadifuls to my pp corner.

I had sooooooooo much fun putting this page together.
How delicious are the Prima flowers!! I really love the vine, it is so easy to reposition.
Thought I would use the vine as the backbone to my Scrapware journal puzzle pieces.
And I just love the end result.
The papers are another amazing combination of MME Confetti Parade, Little Yellow Bicycle Vita Bella and SEI Bridgeport.
Also managed to recycle some Prima packaging again.

'You have a beautiful soul'

Had some fun creating a few cards.
I have made use of a tag from a swap and created the butterflies using a technique I have just learnt from my LSS. It has been created with an AL stamp, stazon, Mod Podge and Glossy accents.
Even dragged out my Bigshot for a play.

Thanks Sar for some amazing products, thoroughly enjoyed creating with them.

Savvy September Ad Challenge

There were amazing entires in last month's Ad challenge at Savvy, so I hoping this one will inspire just as many people.
I have chosen another multi-photo design this month and was originally drawn to this Ad for it's clean lines and simplicity, but alas, anyone who knows me well will just laugh when they see what I have done with it.
Yes I will admit I struggle with simple LOL!! But I love how the page has turned out.

I have featured an awesome grunge technique (created by Rachelle Minett, thanks Rach) on my chipboard pieces and just had to use the AMAZING Scrapware chipboard crane designed by our very own Lisa Warren.

Hope you are inspired by the Ad and can still see the resemblance to it in my layout.
Your pages need to be uploaded to the correct folder in the Savvy gallery by midnight September 30 to be in the running for the prize from Sar.

August reveal for Scrapdango

Well it is better late than never they say.
Poor Carrie is totally over the Postal Service over there, missing parcels, sending them to the wrong address, nothing has gone smoothly.

Both kits were stunning this month,

our Sugar kit was the beautiful Basic Grey - Lemonade

Photobucket

and the Spice kit was one of my favourite lines, Kaisercraft Offshore

Photobucket

With all of the delivery hassles, Carrie decided to send some Basic Grey my way and I was thrilled to be able to scrap some more wedding photos for my nephew.

What a beautiful day
