Stuck?! Sketches March 15th Reveal

I'm back again already with more to share.

The second sketch for the month has been revealed over at Stuck?! Sketches with an amazing array of creativity from the design team.

Here is the sketch:

Loved this sketch, as I normally do! It was perfect for me to add loads of New Release WOW to my page.

GOOD TIMES
Some very recent photos of Harrison having a ball at Bounce Inc, testing out his flips.

Don't forget to head to the blog to see what the rest of the team has created from the sketch.

Please link your page in the sidebar of the blog by the 29th March to be in the running for one of the prizes. All prizes will be drawn randomly using Random.org to pick the numbers.

When linking your layouts, please make sure it is linked to the specific post your layout is in, not your blog as a whole, as it can be hard later in the month to find your layout. You can also link from any gallery including Flickr or Facebook, but we may not be able to comment.

Feel free to combine this sketch with no more than one other non sketch challenge, such a colour challenge.

Please post a link back to Stuck?! Sketches on your blog entry for our challenge

Thanks for dropping by, hope to see you joining in on the sketch challenge.

March 15th Feature @ WOW

We have shaken things up over at the WOW Blog and decided each month we will choose a Design Team favourite New Release piece to feature on the 15th of each month.

Our first favourite New Release is the Industrial pieces, sold individually and in a fabulous pack

I decided to go for the water pipe look. Each piece has been heavily embossed with white and gold, I then added some Stickles and watercolour paint in blue to give it some finishing touches.

The 'Heart This' oval from the New Release Love This Pack was also embossed with white and clear powder.

The arrows from the New Release Tribal Arrow pack were covered with gesso first, then paint with orange watercolour paint and the final layer of clear embossing powder.

I've added a few older pieces, the whale border from the Nautical Mini Borders, simply inked with charcoal and then the wave was highlighted with a blue metallic gel pen and inked a few clouds from the Mini Clouds Pack in white and then added a layer of Dimensional Magic.

Heart this
Here is the finished page. I had loads of fun creating the background, making a mess along the way.
