SCRaPDANGo December Kit

Well after a few hiccups with product arriving, we can finally showcase the awesome kits this month at SCRaPDANGo.
Both kits are stunning, it would be hard to choose between the two.
The Sugar kit is Fancy Pants-Artic Chill and the Spice kit is Rose Moka-Equinoxe

I was thrilled to be putting Equinoxe through its paces and must admit, I am very happy with my creations. The kits are so generous, I still have a few pieces I would like to finish.
But here are few to get you drooling,

Some Savvy Projects

I decided to tackle some OTP projects for Christmas over at www.scrapbooksavvy.com.au and I am thrilled with how they have turned out.
I just adore Kaisercraft products, I really can not get enough of them.
Diane has a great selection of Kaisercraft products in the store http://www.scrapbooksavvy.com.au/store/index.php?main_page=index&manufacturers_id=91&sort=20a&filter_id=452

And just seen some peeks of their next release and it actually made me feel faint LOL!!!

I have decorated the Christmas Present album with Pear Tree papers and the swivvel Chistmas Tree using Countdown.
My present album I scrapped Harry's 2008 christmas, I love seeing the day in review and you can see Harry just loves christmas.
The Swivvel Tree I decided to scrap some christmas photos from every year since Harry was born. It is fabulous way to see how much he has changed. Now Grandma wants one too LOL!!

Where did November go??

Well the last two weeks have just flown by.
DS and I were taking it in turns having bugs, but we are hopefully now over everything.
So disappointed I didn't finish my month of blogging, at least I have improved on how often I do blogg.
Well getting sick has really messed up all of my scrapping deadlines, but after a few late nights and some help from DH, I have all but caught up.

I have been playing along over at Scrapping Outback doing their 4 weeks of Christmas classes and I have had a ball. The girls give us lots of techniques to try and some fabulous chrissy ideas.
Thanks Girls

YIPPEE!!

I am now on holidays!!
It is only for a week, but it will still be nice.
Hopefully we can get the tree up and start doing our lights outside.

It will be my beautiful girl's seventh birthday on Tuesday, so Harry and I need to organise her balloons to release. He has decided they need to be rainbow colours this year, but I am sure he will change his mind when we get to the shop.
This time of year is always so difficult for me, I would give anything to have her here with me and hold her in my arms.
So be gentle with me, I take each day as it comes and no matter what people say, it never gets any easier.

I hope to get a few project done and lots of pages, nothing else planned.
Harry has an appointment with an ENT speciallist next week to check his tonsils out.
He has had about 6 bouts of tonsillitis in an 18 month period. They are the biggest and, I have to say, ugliest tonsils you have ever seen, but not sure what they will say.

I don't want them taken out if it is not necessary, but I want to be reassured that they will be OK.

Well the little guy is tucked away in bed, so it is time for me to get my scrapping stuff out and play.

Until tomorrow, stay safe. xx

Fun day

Today I got the opportunity to do an Excel Intro course for work.
I haven't been to any training for such a long time, but I really enjoyed it.
Daddy had to do the trip to Grandmas and work, while I caught the Tram into the city, got a mocha and did something for myself.
Hopefully I will get to practice a bit so everything sinks into my head.
One more day to work this week and then I have a week off, which I am really looking forward too.
Time for bed, chat tomorrow!

Getting back on track

So I am sick for a few days and then to add to it we loose our internet over the weekend.
What is that saying, If it don't rain, it pours!!
The bonus to the situation was I got to do some serious scrapping and recover properly from my bug. Hopefully the family can stay well for awhile.
We had our usual mad Monday, swimming and kindy, but all went well.

I solemly swear to get back to blogging everyday like I promised, hate when life gets in the way.

I wanted to share some challenges I completed over at www.scrappingoutback.com.au November Cybercrop last weekend. I love the challenges the girls give us, always fabulous techniques.

We had a mid Month reveal over at www.scrapdango.net this month, but I will post that seperately.

Take care xx

I'm sick!!

It has been so long since I've been sick, but it all caught up with me on Wednesday night.
Sorry for the graphics, but I spent most of Wednesday night in the bathroom with a bucket.
I have been flat ever since, but being a Mummy means I can't curl up and die!!
Must admit DS has been very good, while I lay on the couch. He comes over every now and then and kisses my forehead, then tells me I am hot. Bless him!!

Still feeling a bit YUCK, but at least I am getting around.
Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow and can start to catch up with things.
Catch Ya later! xx

Wednesday 12 November 2008

Finished for the week

I love Wednesday nights, it means I have finished work until next week.
It is a hard life but somebody has to do it LOL!!
Thankfully my little man was better behaved for Mum today after a horror day yesterday.
But I laughed a little, told Mum it was her turn for him to be naughty.
I am planning on taking DS to see Father Christmas on Friday, but I think we will wait to see how good he can be.

I have loads of scrapping that I need to do and I was hoping to get started tonight, but I think I am going to bed early to catch up on some sleep.
Just have to do more tomorrow.
Until then stay safe xx

Tuesday 11 November 2008

Back to work

Today was a working day, so we were all up early which is always fun!!
It was so hot here today and there is never any shade to park the car under.
It was nice to come home and have a drink, we get changed and then head back to Mum and Dads for tea.
Tuesday nights we do our ballroom dancing lessons, which is just a scream.
I think we are slowly getting better, but we still have a long way to go.
Well I have an early start tomorrow so it is off to bed for me, Daddy gets to put the boy to bed.
Take care xx

Monday 10 November 2008

Where did Sunday go?

I got so wrapped up in Idol and Dancing with the Stars, that I forgot to blog. BAD GIRL!!!
Wasn't Dancing with the stars just awesome!! They all did an amazing job.
And Idol is getting closer to the finish as well, then what will I watch 8(.

Well DH kept his word yesterday and took Harry out for a for hours.
I managed to finish my 123 November Challenge page which I thoroughly enjoyed doing.

Remember the criteria for this month,

1. Lace
2. Scary Photo
3. Monochromatic

Photobucket

Also did some DT work for SCRaPDANGo
But you will have to wait for that. HeHe!!

And then all of a sudden it is Monday again, swimming, shower, eat and Kindy.
It happens so fast I can hardly catch my breath.
I'm looking forward to Idol tonight and maybe a bit of scrapping before going to bed early, I am working the next two days so I need to stay on my toes.

Thanks for dropping in, Take care xx

Saturday 8 November 2008

Quiet weekend

Well our little man is feeling a bit better tonight and has gone into his own bed.
Hopefully he will stay in there!
I have achieved nothing today, besides some ideas in my head.
When Harry is sick, he wants me right by his side and as Daddy spent the day at the races, it was left to me. So I couldn't get anything scrappy happening.
I am busting to get stuff done, so DH has promised it will be my day tomorrow. YIPPEE
I have managed to print lots of photos today while DS had a short snooze, so at least I can start on my layouts straight away.
I have to say after sitting up for nearly 2 hours with DS chucking overnight I am feeling a bit tired, so I think it is time to hit the sack.
Stay safe xx

Friday 7 November 2008

Quick post tonight.

Not much happening tonight.
DS has come down with a tummy virus earlier this evening, so there goes my night!
Hopefully he will feel better in the morning, we have our pageant on.

I will be sleeping with DS in the family room tonight, so maybe I will just get some sleep and scrap tomorrow.

Told you I would be short and sweet
Take care until tomorrow xx

Nice easy day!

Well as I type, the wind outside is beginning to pick up, I think it is going to be a bit wild overnight here! Hopefully we will get some rain with it too.
Well apart from the kindy run this morning and dropping into Target on the way home, Harry and I haven't done much. The usually daily tidy up, a load of washing and even managed to finish a page.
I have surfed my forums on and off throughout the day and got my DT kit from Scrapdango this afternoon. Can't wait to start playing. It is an awesome kit, you can check out our reveal on the 15th November. But I will post a photo of the kit before then.

Short and sweet tonight, DS is asleep, so I want to try and scrap for awhile tonight. Hopefully DH will go to bed soon.

Until tomorrow, Stay safe xx

Wednesday 5 November 2008

I am keeping up for now

Well I have finished working for the week, YIPPEE!!
I don't mind the work I do and it is always great to catch up with the girls.
But now I can do what I love ...................... scrapping of course.
Hope to get a page finished tonight, maybe two, but I can hear DH snoring his heart out which always drives me nuts!!
Can some-one please tell me WHY men insist on falling asleep on the couch instead of going to bed, it seems so pointless to me and the snoring drives me INSANE, really!!!
DS has kindy in the morning, then we have the day to ourselves, but I need to get some washing done at some stage.

There are quite a few crops happening this weekend, I hope to play along with some of them.
Our Christmas Pageant is on this Saturday, so we will head there first thing in the morning, then have the rest of the weekend to relax.

Until tomorrow, stay safe xx

November Ad Challenge at Scrapbook Savvy

This month's Ad challenge has been posted and it has endless possibilities.
You may decide to tackle the colours, the theme or simply the layout itself. I loved the fact it had 6 photos, but if that seems a little daunting maybe go for 2 large landscape photos.
I can't wait to see how you interpret the challenge, head over to www.scrapbooksavvy.com.au to check out the details and see what the other DT girls have up their sleeves too!
Here is the Ad and my take on it and I just love the awesome Black Market Paper Society 'Lucky n Love'

Such a busy day

I have finally got the chance to sit down and play on the puter! YEAH!!
Well Tuesdays are usually a little mad, after working a full day, DH and I race home to get changed and head to Mum's place. She looks after Harry while I am at work, bless her!!
We all have dinner and then Shane and I head off to our ballroom dancing lessons with my sister and her hubbie Pat. We have been dancing for about 6 months now and absolutely love it.
Then it is back to Mums, pick up the little man and head for home. Harry and I go inside and Shane goes off to his motorbike meeting. I am exhausted just typing it all.

I don't tend to get much done on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, by the time I get Harry's things packed for Grandma's for Kindy and play we eat, shower and veg on the couch, go to bed and then get up for work.
