Seriously you really need to check this out,

Still available in-store here

My two favourite thins about this collection are the thickness of each paper and just loving the colours!!

So over the weekend I managed to put together 4 pages.
Can't believe how easy it was for me to swap from creating girly pages to scrapping photos of my boys.

WOW October Sketch Challenge

This month over on the WOW Blog the monthly challenge is for you to create a layout based on this sketch!

The only essential criteria is that you use at least one piece of WOW chipboard on your project...the sketch is open to your interpretation.

Here is my take on things.

I have traced around the AltaMATZ 6x6 Doily Corner ALTA047 to create a paper doily on my page.

Photobucket

The brackets from the Bracket Set C467 have been inked and then doodled with faux stitching.

Photobucket

The Filigree Heart  was inked and then covered with Glossy Accents.

Here is the finished page, some gorgeous snaps of my great-niece.

So Pretty in PINK

October Colour Cybercrop Challenge @ Savvy

This month for the Savvy Cybercrop, I decided to go for a Colour Challenge to get everyone motivated.

I have a few favourite collections here at the moment and quite a few of them have the colours I have chosen. So that made scrapping my page heaps of fun.

I was searching the web for an inspiring photo with the colours I wanted to use and found this:

Photobucket

I would love to see this in our bedroom, but I couldn't see the other half agreeing with it!
So the main colours taken from the picture are these:

The page I have scrapped is very much inspired by a page seen on Pinterest based on a sketch. It was originally the background technique that took my interest, but I love the page I have created from it.

I adore you

The other members of the Design Team have all created awesome challenges for the Cybercrop

Scrapbook Savvy October Cybercrop tonight

What are you doing this weekend??

Why don't you join us over at the Scrapbook Savvy Forum tonight at 8.00pm ESDT for the start of the Cybercrop.

Savvy's October Big Sketch Challenge

Over at Scrapbook Savvy we have decided to change our monthly challenges.
We have come to realize that everyone is very busy these days and your time to scrap is very limited.
So, instead of each of us having a different challenge, we will be having just our BIG SKETCH CHALLENGE WITH A TWIST, the twist being the sketch is based on a page from the Savvy gallery. Each Design Team member will create a page based on the sketch and reveal it at different times during the month.
And the best news of all is the awesome prize now up for grabs, a $40 Savvy voucher!!!!!

So have you done your page yet???

I revealed my take on the sketch in the forum on Monday. Absolutely love what I created.

So this is how it goes, in the beginning the original inspiration for our sketch this month was taken from Chloe's gorgeous page 'FUN'

and then the very talented Sara N created this cool sketch

And here is my take on things. I have turned the sketch on it's side and used WOW chipboard instead of a Dollie shape.

Entries are to be loaded to the relevant gallery folder no later than midnight October 31st to be in the running for a $40 Savvy voucher and free post. Please don't forget that layouts are to be created for this challenge only and not used for any other around the web.

Thanks for dropping in :)

WOW October New Releases

Good Morning to all, what a beautiful day it is here already.
Today over at the WOW blog the design team are sharing some of this month's new releases.

I've put together 3 pages to share with you and I hope you will find them inspiring.

My first page features the WOW 1651 Sewing Stitches Large and a photo of my gorgeous boy from the 2010 Christmas pageant.
I have inked the 'heartbeat' piece using Pinecone VersaInk and then used a metallic red gel pen to outline it.
Also used are some hearts from the Mini Heart Pack. The outlined hearts have been inked in red and then I have simply doodled some dots with a brown pen. The solid hearts have been covered with red Stickles and Glossy Accents.

My second page has gone a little bit girlie!
This is one of my beautiful Nieces. She is showing off her new outfit that I sent to her a few months ago.
The new chipboard piece is the very dainty Belinda Flourish, which I love.
I have covered it with Liquid Pearls and attached a heart from the Mini Hearts Pack inked to match the jade colour in the papers.

This page was inspired from Sara N's blind scrap last weekend over at Scrapbook Savvy

Pretty Ballerina Girl

My final page today goes back to all things boyish.
These are older photos of Harrison on a day out to visit some trains.
The new chipboard here is the perfect title PLAY
I have coloured the train using different inks and doodling with a pen. The words 'PLAY' has been inked with brown, stamped using gold and covered with Glossy Accents.
