Savvy October Reveal - Happy Day

This month over at Scrapbook Savvy I was excited to be given the bright and cheerful collection 'Happy Day' by Simple Stories to create some layouts for inspiration.
Sar obviously knows me very well!!

I totally fell in love with this gorgeous collection, they really are a very clever company! The combination of border strips, journal cards, 4x6 and 6x12 patterns all within the 12x12 papers is fabulous and the sticker sheets that compliment the papers are just perfectly.
I highly recommend buying it all, you really won't need anything else.

The other amazing thing with this collection, although it is based around birthday celebrations, you can use it for many other pages without being restricted and it is very gender neutral.
But lets face it, we all have birthdays every year, so I don't think this collection could possibly go to waste. Hopefully you will find some inspiration from the pages I have made and I am sure there will be a few more to follow.

2Crafty - You

I've had loads of fun playing with the newly released 2Crafty chipboard designs, it did get a bit messy from time to time, but all worth it in the end.

This page includes the Picket Fence, the slightly tortured Cartia's Swirl and Corine's Swirl for my grass and some left over pieces from a Cogs Border

Now all of those pieces are gorgeous, but my favourite piece of all!
The Victorian Lamp Post.

Here is the finished page, thanks for popping in.

Sharing some retreat pages

I was getting a little behind with my 52 week album before heading off to the retreat, so it was one thing I knew I wanted to scrap while I was away.
Thankfully it all went to plan :) but I will warn you now, there is no journaling on these pages yet. I find it hard to do when I am away scrapping.

Week 33 - Army boy

A new costume Daddy discovered while out shopping, Harrison was thrilled!
Sadly he soon discovered it was not made for true combat training and he split the arse of it very quickly.

Week 34 - Book Week

I was informed it was the Book week parade today as we pulled into the school car park, so it meant a mercy dash around to Target to grab a costume. $60.00 later and only just made it back to school in time. Not a happy Mummy!

Savvy October Manufacturer Challenge

This month's manufacturer is featured in both of the specially released September kits over at Scrapbook Savvy and has also made an appearance in previous kits.
So I am confident you will all have a small stash of this company to tackle the challenge.

If you haven't got any in your stash, you can still grab a kit from the Savvy shop. He's Savvy and She's Savvy

You are probably wondering about the manufacturer then??

The October manufacturer is Crate Paper and for you extra criteria, I want to see plenty of INK

I've used an older He's Savvy kit which featured Crate Paper Toy Box
All of my edges have been inked with Pinecone and then I'vs used Distress Ink and a Crafter's template for the background.

In awe
