Scrapdango July Kit reveal

It is that time of the month when the design team at Scrapdango reveal their creations featuring the Sugar and Spice kits
Once again, both of the kits are simply gorgeous!!
Bright and happy colours perfect for the American summer.
Spice includes the fabulous 72 & Sunny collection from We Are Memory Keepers.



I was very excited to get our Sugar kit this month, Fancy Pants Rusted Sun. I loved the more'Rustic' summer colours and had a heap of fun scrapping with them.



Starting with my double page spread, I decided to do a bit of cutting just for the heck of it. Sorry about the palm trees, did the best I could. And that is supposed to be seaweed, a clever idea from my darling man.

Scrap the Boys July 'Devil is in the Detail' challenge

July She's Savvy kit Reveal

I was one of the lucky ones to get my hands on this month's She's Savvy kit from Scrapbook Savvy.
It features the gorgeous collection Peacock Lane from Bo Bunny. Sadly the kits have walked out the store, but I still want to share the things I managed to create.

June reveal for Scrapbook Savvy

Sar gave me a few choices this month, but picking was pretty easy. I've had a ball creating with Jenni Bowlin - Play Date, lurving the colours, they are so easy to work with and look fabulous together.
The matching journal cards and banner stickers go perfectly and then add some thickers, chunky navy blue ric-rac, Collections arrows and red string, you can understand my joy!!

Very exciting news to share!!

One of my scrapping dreams has been answered!!

I have been asked to join the 2 Crafty Design team and for a girl who adores her chipboard, I am absolutely over the moon!!!

The very talented new team will include Susan Longman, Michelle Winston, Tammy Leaver, Belinda Howlett and of course Anthea Peterson and Debra Harvey

The fun will begin soon, so stay tuned.

My *new* July ABC challenge @ Savvy

Well unfortunately the lack of interest in the 'All about me' challenges at Scrapbook Savvy has meant a little re-think on my behalf.
So from July 1st, I am starting the new ABC challenge.

Each month I will give you a letter, and sometimes a criteria, for you to create a page, any size & any subject. The letter must be used for the main word in the title of your page. Where possible it will be great to have just one word, but it is not compulsary.

So we will start at the very beginning this month.

Create a layout using the letter 'A' for your title and please include some arrows and acrylic paint on your page.
Upload to the correct gallery by Midnight July 31st to be in the running for the prize. Please create the page purely for the challenge over at Savvy.

What is happening at Savvy today

Well new kits were released this morning, but once a again Sara has done such an awesome job putting them together, they are selling like hot cakes.
I am not at all surpised as all three kits are FUNtabulous!!

Scrap the boys July 1st challenge

The very first challenge is up and waiting for you to jump right in over at Scrap the boys.
The new concept this month is there will be 2 challenges each month and the Creative Team have been split to inspire you on a regular basis.

So here is your challenge:
Use a portrait shot, one of those “nothing photos” (you know that photo you love but does not have a story or event attached to it) and record your boy’s vital statistics right now making sure you add in some quirky facts about them.

You can see what our awesome team have created and I am sure they will get you inspired straight away.

Kraft It Up July Challenge
