There was a very cool summer theme to the February New Releases over at WOW and I had a ball creating some pages with a few different pieces. There are always plenty of summer photos to scrap.
My first page features a new chipboard title Lazy Summer Days and it's been cut in another gorgeous font. Plus you will see a few chipboard Splats thrown in for a good water effect!
Lazy Summer Days
The chipboard has been covered with layers of different coloured inks that have been blended together to create a graduated colour change. The finish is a thick coat of Dimensional Magic.
Here is my crazy boy 'rippin it up' on his water slide, that sadly only lasted a few days.
Page number two is a simple page featuring the chipboard Dolphin from the Sea Animal Pack, the dark wood veneer dolphin from the WV Sea Animal Pack and the wood veneer title Relax.
I have kept the wood veneer pieces in their natural state. The title 'Relax" has been highlighted using some faux stitching created with a black gel pen
The dolphins have been roughly covered with charcoal ink and white pen, love the finish on them.
Relax {maiden voyage}
Stay tuned over the next few days and I will have more to share with you. Thanks for dropping in.

Stuck?! Sketches 15th February Reveal
I can't believe we are already half way through the month, mister 9 and three quarters has been back at school for 3 weeks already.
On this occasion I am glad to be so far into the month so I can share the next sketch over at Stuck?! Sketches.
There are some fantastic sponsors for this sketch, Buttons & Badges are supplying a $20.00 gift voucher to spend in their etsy store, and Scrapbook & Design is offering 4 digital paper packs for one lucky person.
Also a big welcome to Lynn Shokoples, our guest designer for this sketch.
Here is the sketch,
I had lots of fun with this sketch, scrapping some recent photos of my son attending a magic workshop.
He loved every minute of the two hour session, love the look on his face.
OMG it's magic
Don't forget to head to the blog to see what the rest of the team has created from the sketch.
Please link your page in the sidebar of the blog by the 26th February to be in the running for one of the prizes. All prizes will be drawn randomly using Random.org to pick the numbers.
When linking your layouts, please make sure it is linked to the specific post your layout is in, not your blog as a whole, as it can be hard later in the month to find your layout. You can also link from any gallery including Flickr or Facebook.
Feel free to combine this sketch with no more than one other non sketch challenge, such a colour challenge.
Thanks for dropping by, hope to see you joining in on the sketch challenge.

February BIG Savvy Sketch reveal
It was my turn this month to chose some inspiration from the Savvy Gallery to base our sketch on.
There was a huge amount of talent in the gallery which made my decision a little tough, but that is a problem I don't mind having !
This month I have chosen a gorgeous page created by Jo Burke from our recent Cybercrop.
Thanks for the inspiration Jo :)
Here is the sketch for you to base your page on,
And this is the page I have created using the sketch,
Be awesome always
Remember this is THE one challenge you want to play along with each month with a MASSIVE $40 voucher to the Savvy store and FREE POSTAGE Australia wide for the lucky random winner!!!!
Please upload your layout to the gallery by midnight 28th February 2014 to be in the running for this randomly drawn prize. Remember your page should be a new creation for this challenge alone.
Keep visiting the Savvy Blog throughout the month to see what Sar, Chloe and Karen have done with the sketch.
