2 Crafty reveal - Razor Rider

Back to my scrapping again last night, happy times for me!
And just to make it feel even more amazing, getting dirty at the same time!!

Doing a layout for the 2 Crafty blog and playing with one of the new releases.

I love all of the new chipboard but last night the Zig Zag border frame was definitely talking to me. I LOVE these frames!
Also used a few chipboard pieces from the Skateboarding multi pack to jazz up the page.

Love the whole grungy feel to my page, just like Harrison, a typical boy.

Had a lovely scrappy day

Yep yesterday I decided to scrap the day away.
The house was cleaned, sheets were washed and the washing was almost complete, so I got busy with my stash. I pulled out a few of my favourite lines and started pushing paper around the table. I was surprised the boys left me in peace for most of the day. :)

I am trying to play along at Scrap.Biz University this month, the subjects are fantastic and I am scrapping photos that I may have never thought to scrap. That is pretty cool I think. Well I am a little behind with the subjects, 10 so far, but I did manage to complete 3 subjects yesterday. Plus a page for my 52 week album and a just cause page.

I was pretty happy with the total of 5 pages for the day.

First ones are for Scrap.Biz University

Geneology Studies (scrap 3 or more generations)

Mother's Day

Photobucket

Behavioural Sciences (scrap characteristics of some-one close)

So alike but different

Photobucket

Horticulture (scrap your garden)

Angel Face

The next one is for my 52 week album - Week six

2 Crafty reveal - First day back

Finally back with some scrapping to show you after taking last weekend off for the Train Concert. Which by the way was AWESOME!!!
It's been a crazy day here today, colouring hair with my Sister and rushing around for school and swimming, but I am home at last and ready to veg for a while.!

I managed to scrap week 5 of my '52 week' album last night, it is Harrison's first day back at school. Three times it took me to get a decent photo of him in his uniform and he complained all the way to school!
He did make me giggle, telling me he really did not see why he needed to learn at school cause he could do it by reading his books at home.
Can't argue with 6 yo logic!

I used a few pieces of 2 Crafty chipboard on my page, the Alphabet frame, has been embossed and inked. Also added a few pieces from a School Icons multi pack, that I have roughly inked and doodled.

Hopefully I get a chance to get back into my supplies tonight :)

Thanks for passing through.

Some random scrapping

I have a few projects to share from playing along over at ScrapBiz Biggest Loser competition. Managed 6 missions out of 14, I was hoping to get more done but having family here meant not as much scrapping has been done.

2 Crafty reveal - Last Day

I did some late night scrapping on Thursday night before going away for the weekend. Love my 'me' time scrapping after everyone is asleep. This page was week four of my
'52 weeks' album. Yes I know it's amazing I am still up-to-date.

Created this page for 2 Crafty using one of the ornate circle frames, I have lightly inked it and then literally splashed some crackle paint over parts of the frame to grunge it up slightly.
It looks great as a journal spot for the layout.

Sar's Blind Scrap

I was dragging my feet with my page for Sar's blind scrap and I didn't make the deadline but I was determined I was going to finish it.
I couldn't get the embellishment cluster to sit how I wanted it, so I just kept fiddling for a few days. A few tantrums in the creative process LOL!! but think I'm happy now.

Sharing my space

Miss Donna showed her scrap place on her blog a week or so ago and asked us to post our scrap space too. I had forgotten I had taken some photos for Bella Blvd back in November, I had to clean it up then so I thought I would share those photos.
I don't scrap in my room yet cause the lightening is not the best and I don't have a chair, but it holds (hides) all of my stuff.
The photos are not fabulous as the room is long and skinny so I can't get back far enough to take better photos, but you can get the idea.
I will be stealing a few of Donnas ideas, like the shoe organiser for my punches and I would love to put a bookshelf type thing on top of the huge desk to store more things. All in good time.

Scrapbook Savvy DT - October Afternoon Modern Homemaker

Well I said on the Savvy forum yesterday I was going to scrap all day and that is exactly what I did :).I did manage 2 loads of washing, but that was it!

I had a very productive day, helped by the fact I was left to my own devices for most of the day. OA Modern Homemaker is a beautiful, colourful collection, I found it so easy to scrap a variety of pages and each time the papers worked well together. I went from cooking to babies, babies to my boy without a hiccup.

You can still grab some of this collection in the Savvy Shop and remember there is still 25% off until the end of the month.
