2 Crafty - Seeing in 2009

Some more 2 Crafty inspiration to share with you today.

I've been playing with some paint and a straw to create the background effect and added a bit of bling on my 2 Crafty chipboard pieces with some stickles and glossy accents.

Loved using the Funky snowflakes as my sparkler burst.
How cool is flexible chipboard :)

Scrapbook Savvy DT - 3 Bugs in a rug Dawson

Finally I have scrapped, I was beginning to think the mojo had left home.

Sarah sent the very cute Dawson range for me to create with this month. I loved it!! Fabulous boy colours and dinosaurs! What more could a mother of a 6 yo boy need LOL!!
I found the mixture of patterns throughout the range so easy to co-ordinate and the dinosaurs didn't overtake anything I was trying to create.

A very popular collection over at Savvy and sadly it is already sold out.

2 Crafty reveal - Lazy day

Finally got back to scrapping last night, but spent most of my time playing with chipboard. Sad, but some-one has to do it LOL!!
Definitely love using gesso as a good base for my chipboard. Helps with coverage and gives the colour a great lift.

This is another page for my '52 weeks', yes I am still hanging in there and it includes lots of 2 Crafty chipboard to inspire anyone who is looking.
Mr Pelican on a stump, a yummy flourish and my favourite Chunky heart.
Once again this girl had a ball.

Monday is here and that means it's time for a new sketch to be posted over at The Scrappiest



Loved using this sketch! I had printed these photos for a challenge months ago and then decided to do something else, but they were perfect for this sketch.

Shame the truck only last 10 minutes each time we charge it.

Gone a bit girlie!

Been playing with flowers, bling and plenty of pink for the past couple of days.
Very scarey experience LOL!! But I think I have made it out the other side.

With a 9 month old niece and a 6 week old great niece, I really need to find the inner girl in me. Shake of the dirt, mess and grunge and try to make pretty things for a bit.

I've been playing/experimenting with my chipboard for a day or so and actually managed to colour match to my papers, totally gobsmacked!
Frustrating part of this adventure was waiting for things to dry.

I stole some of the Graphic 45 'Once upon a Springtime' from my Mum (her birthday present, I guess that makes me an indian giver LOL!!!) and sat watching Grey's last night, cutting out flowers.
I think I might have gotten a little carried away, but never mind.

This is my page, doesn't look too bad. They practice makes perfect.

2 Crafty reveal - Silly buggers

Yep, I've been playing with chipboard again!! Really good therapy I say!

Thought I would take the 2 Crafty Robots for a bit of a test drive and see how they stood up. These robots are so cute and such great value with 6 in a pack. So I will keep the other 3 safe for another day.

I have inked and crackled these little suckers and used gel pens to give some of them their sight :) Pretty happy with the end result.

Savvy March ABC Challenge

Well this is the second to last month for my ABC challenge and I know there will be 1 or 2 girls who will have an amazing ABC album to show off.
I still have a few pages to catch up on, but have really enjoyed the whole idea.

So this month just to balance things out, I have chosen to do only 2 letters and leave 2 for April.

Create your page/s using the specific letter as your main "one word" title and include the matching criteria listed below for that letter.
You can do one page or complete both challenges.

Upload each page to the correct Savvy gallery before Midnight March 31st to be eligible for our random draws.

The criteria for each letter this month:

W - Writing and white
X - XXX (kisses) and Xanthian (yellow)(Thanks to the Savvy girls for helping me out)
