Stuck?! 15th July Sketch and Creative Team Call
Evening Scrappers!
It's that time of the month to share the second sketch from Stuck?!
Another awesome sketch created by Sara
Here is my take on the sketch using some older photos of my sweet boy and more fun had using some different templates and Distress Ink
Learning to create

June He's Savvy Kit Reveal
Hey there bloggers! Welcome on this chilly Sunday morning.
Today I am sharing what I have created from the recently released but quickly 'Sold Out' He's Savvy kit from Scrapbook Savvy.
Thankfully I am currently enjoying two weeks holidays and loving the chance to scrap whenever I feel like it!
A girl could get very use to this you know.
I have put together 4 pages from this He's Savvy Kit by simply adding some extra cardstock and there is still a chance for maybe one more page. Amazing value packed into one kit!
Boys and their toys
I've used a WOW chipboard title 'Boys and their toys' covered it with Pinecone Ink and then coloured it using my favourite Metallic Rubs. The title was finished off with Glossy Accents which really highlights the rubs, loving it!
A small WOW bookplate has been crackled, gesso-ed and inked to match the page and then backed with kraft cardstock to use for a journal spot.
You add a splash of colour to every day
I had SO much fun doing this page! Crafter's template, numerous colours of Distress Inks, some stamping and finally a little doodling. Think this would be my favourite page ATM. A few fuzzy embellies used from scrAp this!
Rocket Man
I have been patiently waiting to scrap this photo from the 2011 Clipsal 500 and finally the inspiration hit.
This page was helped along with some perfectly suited WOW chipboard pieces from the Rocket & Space pack and the negative scrap chipboard left over from the Domino Pack
The rocket ship and planets have been covered with Distress Inks, some doodling and Kindy Glitz. The negative frame has been coved using Tattered Angels High Impact paint and backed with patterned paper.
And the final page,
Always Smile
Have to tell you a little secret that I realized when doing this page. I am finding it a little hard to use plain black cardstock ATM! It's so easy with white and kraft, just being able to do whatever you like with the background. So I put this page together and was not liking the 'white space' left on the layout, so I did some random circles with a metallic red pen and Crafter's template. It doesn't show very well in the photograph but it was enough to sway me.
So there you have it, 4 pages created from one kit and there are still some scraps for at least one more.
Pretty cool!

Afternoon People's, hope you are well :)
This month over on the Scrapbook Savvy blog it was Sara's turn to host the BIG Savvy Sketch. She chose a a digital layout created by Di from the gallery and based her sketch on that page.
And this is the page I created from the sketch, Mr then 8 year old mastering the art of Selfies!!
Never too young I guess.
Learning how to take selfies
Don't forget that this is THE challenge to enter at Scrapbook Savvy, with an awesome $40 voucher plus FREE POSTAGE for the winner. You have until Midnight Jukly 31st to enter your page to the gallery.
And please remember you must create a new page specifically for this challenge.

Stuck?! July 1st Reveal
Hey there! Welcome to my blog :)
Just kicking back and relaxing on Day One of our holidays and loving every minute!
Today I am sharing my take on the July 1st sketch from Stuck?!
Here's the sketch
And this is what I came up with, I changed the circles to hexagons and the butterflies to hearts, just to put a boy spin on things. Instead of the larger photo, I decided to have two smaller portrait ones
All tied up

Scrapbook Savvy June DT Reveal
Firstly I realize it is actually July, but I was a little slow getting this posted to my blog :)
So for June, Sarah sent out the Echo Park Happy Camper Collection to me.
Twelve amazing double-sided papers and two 12x12 sticker sheets, love these collection packs!!
The gorgeous combination of aqua blue, red, green, orange and yellow, the absolute perfect boy colours.
And there are still two collection kits available in-store, but be quick!
I have been creating over the past two weekends and really loving it. The patterned papers just compliment each other so well, I had a ball!
Taken out by a wave
Love scrapping beach pages when it is freezing outside, just warms you up a little. Had fun creating the background with Distress Inks and templates. The Prima raindrop template was featured in the previous Savvy Kit. Sarah also sent some white Thickers for me to use.
That cheeky grin
This was a school holiday play date at yet another playground, he can just never get enough!
Three different templates and three different colour Distress Inks, love layering the colours.
Sharing some WOW chippie on this page too, a star from the 12x12 Stars sheet. Sadly it is my last star :(
I have used Pinecone ink to cover it, given it a rub down with some metallic rubon and then coated it with Dimensional Magic.
Pedal Power
How small does this boy look here? Where did he go?
Had lots of fun with this page. I've used Distress Ink & 2 templates, 2 different Kaisercraft stamps and some drops of sepia ink. The Thickers have been covered with Stickles and then I have used the same Stickles to add a few highlighted areas on the page.
Taking a break
My boy and his mate having a rest after spending the morning at last years pageant. We were parked miles away, but they did a fabulous job without too much complaining.
Firstly I must say I LOVE my sunburst template!! I've used Wild Honey Distress Ink to colour the background, such a rich colour! Then Walnut Distress Ink and the diamond template were added in random areas, with the dots and white gesso creating the final layer. Think this one is my favourite
I have another page to share from Sara's Blind Scrap she did on Saturday night, but I will save that for later in the week when everyone has had a chance to do it, not that I completely followed the intructions :)
So stay tuned for more Happy Camper.
Thanks for visiting my blog today, hope you were inspired.
