Savvy September DT reveal

Over the past few days I have been lucky enough to play with a gorgeous collection from Upsy Daisy Designs called Vogue, you can check it here in the store. It was the colours in this range that originally attracted me, Navy Blue, Light Blue, Green and white, but once I had seen the patterns IRL, I was instantly inspired! Both large and small patterns to combine together or of course, cut out. I was one happy chick!
I guess it helps that Harrison does wear quite a lot of green and blue, but the papers also look amazing with black and white photos.

I've been playing with my inks and glitter over the past few days and made a huge mess in the process. But I love how my page looks and very happy with the chipboard too.

The Sugar kit will not disappoint, it features Sassafrass Lass - Indie Girl. It is absolutely beautiful!!

Fun day at Hahndorf

Harrison and I had a fantastic time today catching up with Peta and Caleb in Handorf. We walked forever, in Harrison's opinion, there was a bit of rain attempting to dampen our spirits, but the day was perfect.
Lots of chatting, which was mainly Harrison, us girls did manage to get a few words in too. The ride home was surprisingly very quiet while the boy had a little shut eye. But since we've been home he has been talking non-stop about his AWESOME day!! And yes the yummy dip is a big hit in this house as well!

Savvy September Kit Reveal

Once again the kits this month at Scrapbook Savvy are in one word, AWESOME!!! I am lucky enough to have 2 of them in my hot little hands.
Thank goodness I subscribe to He's Savvy, I'm sure I would have missed out.

He's Savvy, which has once again raced out the door, features the new Basic Grey Wander



We're Savvy will feature a mixture of October Afternoon and Cosmo Cricket, still waiting for some of the papers to arrive



and the divine She's Savvy kit featuring the beautiful Alphabet Soup collection from My Mind's Eye.



This kit is so well co-ordinated. I pulled my scrapping stuff out about 8.30pm last night and scrapped three pages til about 3.00am this morning. It was all going so well I didn't want to stop. Once out of bed this morning I finished page four and started page five, just need another photo.
That is five layouts in less than 24 hours, amazing for me!! And I love how they have turned out.

2 Crafty reveal - Man's Best Friend

Well it has been peeing down with rain for the past 36 hours so what more can a girl do but scrap!!
I have been playing with some more of the gorgeous newly released chipboard from 2 Crafty with some guidance from Master Harrison.
He really misses his little girl, so I thought I would do a page to make him smile



As you can see I really do love my walnut ink crystal, they may be messy, but worth the clean up after LOL!!

September ABC Challenge @ Savvy

First day of spring, YIPPEE!!!
I am looking forward to longer, warmer days.

Over @ Savvy this month I have issued 3 more alphabet challenges to be tackled.
Some of the criterias have the girls in a spin. I am such a meanie!!
You can choose to do just one of the challenges or take on all three.
Create your page or pages using E,F or G as you main one word title (sub titles are OK) and add the criteria listed.

E is for Eyelets (WTH!!!) and Embossing of any sort
F is for Fabric (any type) and Flowers
G is for Glitter (glimmermist is fine) and Green

Uploaded all of your completed pages to the correct gallery by Midnight September 30th to be eligible for the random draw.

For my first page of the month, I have gone for 'F'.
My felt arrow is my fabric and I have added plenty of flowers.

Kraft It Up September Challenge

We have another fabulous challenge for you over at Kraft It Up this month, of course it involves using Kraft cardstock and taking inspiration from this picture.
