Happy Easter to you all!!

We are having a quiet weekend at home, you know doing the things you seem to put off.
DH is outside in the shed, thining things out. DS is just up to his neck in dirt, like any nearly 4 yo boy and me, well I am fluffin around inside.
A bit of washing, a dab of cleaning and lots of scrapping.
Trying to catch up with my Savvy Challenges before the end of the month.
I was hoping my kit would arrive frome 2CC before the weekend, but alas Aust Post has not come to the party 8(
So it will have to be another jammed packed end of month thing to get my stuff done.

I did manage to get one more page out of the 2CC March kit, I really loved the kit and no surprises, it has sold. So I can't even say to you, get your butt over to 2CC to purchase it, cause you can't LOL!!!

Photobucket

But you can head over to 2CC anyway, the new challenges are up and they are fabulous.
There are 4 in total and they are all very different, so something should appeal to your taste.

My challenge for the month is to tackle the colours Green, Black and White on a layout. No other colours allowed, but you can use any shade of green on your page!!
You can use anything else that takes you fancy.
I was really happy with my funky page, definately lovin green ATM

How you Doin

I also did Amanda's challenge-.......create a layout with the word LUCK or LUCKY really big on it......also, you must include at least one green patterned paper....and a cluster of 4 embellishments.....anything else goes as long as you meet the minimum requirements.

Here is what I came up with,

Lucky

I hope to try Celeste's round page challenge and Renee's Mirror challenge as well.
So pop over to 2CC and have a look, all challenges need to be uploaded to the gallery by Midnight April 14th to be in the draw.
Don't forget to check out Alicia's page plans as well.
A single page plan is on the menu this week, we are hoping to get double points this week if there is enough entries.

OK enough from me today, of to some more scrapping.
Hope you all have a wonderful day with your families tomorrow, try not to eat too much chocolate and stay safe xx

2CC March Kit-My job has begun

Well I have been scrapping my butt off this weekend, my first 2CC kit arrived Thursday, but I couldn't pick it up from the Post Office until Friday.
The kit is just stunning, Autumn Leaves Manhatten range right up my alley!!
I wasn't expected to make the deadline, but I didn't want to drag the line.
So it was head down and butt up and off I went, this is what I managed to produce,

A new month and new challenges

Well March is upon us now, so that means new challenges for the month at Scrapbook Savvy. A big congrats to all the winners of the February Challenges.

So this month I actually spotted a scrapbook related Ad that took my fancy,

March Ad Challenge

I really liked how uniform the Ad looked and loved the chance to use a large photo.
I have used the very versatile BG-Two scoops papers from the Savvy Shop and was very happy with the end result.

MIA

Ok I have been a bit slack the past 2 weeks, but it is with good reason.
For the past week and a half I have had a severe tooth ache.
OMG I have never had one before, it can make you want to pull your head off.
Well my fear and I mean blood curdling fear of Dentist sort of got in the way of getting treatment. When I finally succumbed to the pain, I couldn't get into the Dentist for another 4 days. No-one to blame but myself, but all is well now.

A huge week

So much has happened since I last posted, so I will start from the top!!

I had submitted my resume to Scrapware DT Call a few weeks ago, before you get excited, no I didn't make the team.
I did however get an HM by Ange for the Wall Hanging I submitted for the call, so thanks for that.
Congratulations to the girls who made the team, some huge talent amongst them.
Maybe I will get there next time.

Here is the wall hanging I submitted

Next a Huge, and I mean huge, weekend over at my home Scrapbook Savvy, we had our very first Cybercrop and it was a big success.
Welcome to all of our new girls, the gallery just looks awesome and Diane is having a very difficult time picking winners and has enlisted our help.
Thanks for passing on the task, it was really hard to narrow things down.
Everyones work looks great, and yes even the DT girls rocked the challenges, our gallery is going off!!
Why don't you check it out.

And
drum roll please.....................................................................................

The biggest announcement of all..................................................
You are looking at one of the newest members of the 2008 Design Team for 2 Croppin Cousinz starting in March...Woohoo!!!
I am so excited to be joining the team, very unexpected, there were so many talented girls who had submitted for the call, but I am very thankful for the chance.
Thanks to Amy and Kelly for the opportunity to show what I can do, hopefully I will be able to fill the shoes of the girls I am taking over from Renee, Donna and Kels.
They have been a great inspiration to me since joining the site last May.
I will also get to work beside some awesome girls Renee, Amanda, Jessica and Celeste, plus Marcie head DT and Alicia Barry.
It is going to be a great year.

Ok I think that is everything, I had a big scrappy weekend.
I managed to complete 5 LO's and 1 small OTP. I am pretty pleased with that effort.
On the down side, I have had less than 5 hours sleep a night. I love scrapping at night when all is quiet, but I often loose track of time, hence the reason for no sleep.

Until next time, be good to those who love you!!!

Nearly finished

Well I have finished 2 days of work, one more day to go.
Terrible how it gets in the way of my scrapping LOL!! But if I want to spend like I do, I must work, it just isn't any fun.
Once I finished tomorrow, it is a scrapping I will go. YEAH!!!!
I have got 3 pages on the go ATM for Scrapbook Savvy challenges, hopefully I will finish them tomorrow night. Then I will be already for our Cybercrop starting on Friday night.
I have told DH, that I will be very busy this weekend, so hopefully the boys will keep themselves amused.
Well I have a child's bag to pack for Grandmas and need to tidy up the kitchen.
I shall chat soon.

No Scrapping yet!!

We decided to have my family over for a BBQ last night to celebrate Shane's birthday. We had a great night, but it was 11.30pm before everyone left and by the time we had tidied up it was too late for any scrapping.
Harry went to Little Athletics this morning for the second time and came back with his very own t-shirt. He looked soooo cute and informs me that he is a very fast runner!!
By the time I had made the beds and done the breakfast dishes, they had returned. Why does the time go by so quickly. I was hoping Harry might have an afternoon sleep so I could organize my projects, but alas it is not to be. Maybe he might go to bed early tonight....Yeah right!!

Come hell or high water I am staying up tonight to do some scrapping. I have been to the LSS for some cardstock, just need to print some photo's off. Need to pick which challenge from SS to do first, either Sarah's random challenge or Mel's Scraplift.
I want to get the challenges done before next weekend so I am all ready for Scrapbook Savvy's very first Cybercrop. Hope you will come and join us 8)

Everyone has done an amazing job!!
So if you have found me, go check out Scrapbook Savvy forum, there is so much happening.

The time has come................

Well I have decided to catch up with the scrapping world and try to blog.
For all of you who are now rolling on the ground laughing,
I am glad I could entertain you.
I have no idea what I am doing, but I am sure I can muddle my way through.
So I guess stay tuned, there will be more to come.
