LEST WE FORGET
A special day of Rememberance.
Well I can't believe it, but this awesome 9 weeks competition at Artistic Document is nearly over.
The design team Marie, Toni, Kym and Terri have been pushing us all the way and it was just what my creative mind needed. All of us have regularly been walking on the wild side and thinking outside the square and the gallery definitely shows that very well.
So just catching up with showing you my work.
Week Three - 1950's Rock & Roll
Create a page using black and one other colour, use a trendy font and include plastic on your page.
Go the distance
Week Four - Disney
Create a page based on cartoon or comic theme, include cutwork, layers, brigth colours and doodling.
That's gunna hurt
Week Five - Punk
Create your page using 'moody' colours, ripping and distressing, pins and/or staples
messy stitching and include tartan. (Check out how T!m makes his own tartan)
Mischief Maker
Using Tim Holtz technique
Mini Challenge - Glitz and Glam
Create a book mark with bling and sparkle
Week Six - Charleston
Create a page using rich colours, tassles/fringing, sequins and a filmstrip.
Week Seven - Tango
Create a page predominantly red and black, uses two photos (cos it takes two to tango), no journalling, 2 different kinds of embellies (as many of each as you wish),
2 word title and include 2 techniques.
All Mine
Week Eight - Country Music
Your page shouls include Kraft CS, fabric, sewing (hand OR machine -- NOT fake), habadashery (buttons, pins, tape, trims etc), wire, chipboard, stamping, inking and
rusting.
Love my sweet boy
We have just been issued with another Mini Challenge to decorate a notebook with scraps from any of our pages. I will have to search the house for a book.
Tomorrow the final challenge will be issued and Ican't wait.
