February New Release for WOW
Sunday saw the February New Releases revealed over on the WOW blog along with the amazing samples created by the design team.
I have three pages to share with you today, two have already been shared over at WOW, show I will show a little more detail and one new page to reveal for you this morning.
This new pages features Bits & Pieces Tool Pack WOW1730C, Plain Cog Set WOW729 and Lowercase Classic Alphabet WOW1385
These are older photos of my son doing what he loves, play with Dad's tools.
The cogs and tool pieces have been coated with Walnut Ink Crystals and water and then dried using a heat gun. Melting and bubbling of the crystals adds to effect. To randomly colour these pieces and highlight the raised lumps and bumps, I have grabbed a few different Brilliance Inks, gold, bronze, blue, red, black, brown and silver all play a part of this process. Slowly layering each piece with the gold, bronze, black, silver and brown. Once I was happy with the whole rusty metal look, I lightly added the primary colours.
Love this finish!!
The title has been simply covered bronze ink.
mr fix it
My next page was created using Upper WOW1384 & Lowercase WOW1385 Classic Alphabet and the title Primary WOW 1048
Some special photos taken of my son with his Teacher and class helper on his very last day in the building he started school in. Bitter sweet moment, the boy is growing up.
I have covered all of the letters with pinecone ink and let them thoroughly dry. To decorate each letter I have used metallic gel pens in colours that matched the patterned papers on the page, simple drawing different size spots on each letter.
Last day Junior Primary
The final page captures the family celebrating New Years Eve and our attempts at sparkler art. We all had a heap of fun and there were plenty of photos. This page is what I would call the clean version of the words written with sparklers.
The WOW chipboard used here was the 2013 Pack WOW1741
I have used three different size '2013' and covered them with two different mediums. A bit of glitter in white and blue and some Liquid Pearls in red.
Celebrate 2013
That's it from me today, hope you made it to the end, remember to let your LSS know what WOW chipboard you need :)
Thanks for spending some time with me today.

Taking in the view - WOW
Wrapping up my week on the WOW blog.
I hope you have enjoyed all of the projects and found some inspiring ideas to try.
The last two pages I have to share feature two quick and easy ways to jazz up some chipboard. They requiring very little time to do and make no mess. Perfect!
The first page is my son checking out the view from the Adelaide Showground ferris wheel.
He gets really nervous when the ride first starts, I don't think he likes the going down part, but once we get to stop at the top and he can enjoy the fabulous view, he usually comes around.
Using some brackets from the WOW Bracket set I created a frame around the smaller photos to highlight them on the page. They were inked with pinecone ink first, but they didn't really stand out on the page that much. So I grabbed a small texture stamp and some Gold Brilliance Ink and lightly stamped each bracket.
It looked fabulous!
Taking in the view
Page number two is about a funny incident that I captured while the boys were having a kick of the soccer ball outside. Taking a few snaps of the boys when I suddenly realised the ball was coming straight for me.
Luckily there were no casualties.
I used Classic Alphabet in uppercase to put together my two part title.
The first part has been covered with black ink and then decorated with red Liquid Pearls.
Simple small dots added to each letter.
Part two has been inked with Red Brilliance Ink, stamped with black ink and a checker plate texture stamp and then finished off with some Glossy Accents.
Goalie practice gone crazy
Thanks again for dropping in to my blog.
Remember to check out the WOW blog tomorrow when the February New Releases will be revealed.
I will have my new release project to share with you tomorrow night.
Cheers :)

Just for you Mum - WOW
I am back again to share another project with you today.
The photos used on this page captured my son creating his very own sparkler art on Australia Day last year.
While he was having fun, I took the opportunity to play with the manual settings on my camera.
The WOW chippie involved here was the smaller heart from the 2 pack of Doily 6 Hearts
There is a thick layer of Diamond Stickles and then a thick layer of Glossy Accents, simple to do but a little more time consuming waiting for layers to dry. But so worth it!!
How gorgeous does that look, so shiny in the sunlight, love it!.
Just for you Mum

2 beautiful creatures - WOW
Hello again Scrappers!
Another page to share with you featuring WOW chipboard.
We did a road trip to Monarto Zoo recently during the school holidays and I got some fabulous snaps of the gorgeous Giraffes out there. I was stoked! I have been wanting to use the very cute Baby Giraffe WOW166
since it found it's way into my stash.
My ink stash got another workout for this chipboard.
Lots of colours were used, blending and highlighting and of course, a coat of Glossy Accents to finish him off. The chipboard was backed with brown cardstock to give the giraffe his spots.
The title was created using Block Alphabet in lowercase, it was lightly swiped around the edges with pinecone ink, a simple finish.
2 beautiful creatures
Thanks for dropping into the blog today. I will be back on Friday to share some more with you :)

Chillin with your girl - WOW
Hi! Great to see you back here again today.
Nice simple chipboard technique today and so easy to do.
Inking! But I think it then depends on the inks you choose to use.
I love using Brilliance Inks from Tsuineko, they leave a stunning shimmery finish on you project.
So simple to do, but it leaves a big impression.
I inked the largest star from the WOW chipboard 12x12 Stars with Rocket Red Gold and let it dry, done!.
The star has been backed with patterned paper that co-ordinated with the page.
I thought the photo was perfect but you can keep a good 2 year old still. Still love the moment captured.
Chillin with your girl
Thanks for dropping in, hope to see you again on Wednesday.

Great balls of fire - WOW
I am hosting the week over on the WOW blog and today is my first post.
I've had this Flame Border WOW1115 sitting in my WOW stash since I started with the team.
I knew how I wanted to use it, but wasn't sure if I could pull it off.
After inking, stamping, kindy glitzing and a little embossing powder, I think I have gotten pretty close to what was in my head.
The background kraft cardstock has been misted with OA Sprinklers and the 12x12 Checkerplate AltaMATZ and then using a sheet of punchinella.and pinecone ink, I have randomly added some small circles to different spots on the page.
I am really happy with how the page turned out :) even my son made a comment....COOL Mum!
Great balls of fire
Stay tuned to my blog, I will have more to share over the next few days.

Final week of Summer Inspiration at WOW
I am still catching up with things this week after heading back to work.
With the public holiday and school starting for my son, I am really out of whack :)
We had a couple of things happening on the WOW blog over the weekend and on Monday, so I thought I should share that with you before I start my week of DT inspiration on the Blog.
Over the weekend Words Or Whatever and the team took part in the Scrapbooking Memories Aussie Blog Hop.
The DT girls had some pages to share with everyone and this is the page I created using two arrows from the Arrow Pack, covered with patterned paper.
Boy plus dirt
Then on Monday, we featured our final week of summer shares.
I created a fun page of my son when he was much smaller playing outside.
I've used the Arched Window in MDF, small Brackets and a Mini Birdhouse
1 Big Adventure
Well that's all for now, but I hope you will join me on Sunday over at WOW or here on my blog, for a week of fun and chipboard inspiration.
See ya then :)
